UofT and UofC Lock Down their 2016 Schulich Leaders

The University of Calgary and University of Toronto are the latest universities to solidify their 2016 Schulich Leaders!

All six recipients attend high schools that have produced a Schulich Leader for the first time in their history.

Sabrina Cruz of Notre Dame Catholic Secondary in Ajax, Ontario was one of two Science students selected by the University of Toronto. She plans to specifically study Math & Physical Science. She is joined by Haleema Khana graduating student from Niagara Falls’ Westlane Secondary. Haleema is enrolled in Life Sciences in the Faculty of Arts & Science.

The first of their two engineering recipients is James Xu, a graduating student of Aurora High School. His counterpart, Kevin Han, hails from Burlington, Ontario’s Frank J Hayden Secondary School enrolled to pursue an engineering degree in the Faculty of Applied Sciences.

At the University of Calgary, Hannah Rahim of Mulgrave School in West Vancouver, BC will be pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science Degree. Her fellow Schulich Leader at UCalgary is Joycelyn Ho of Calgary’s Webber Academy. Joycelyn will be pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering.

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for these amazing student leaders! Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!
