Schulich Leaders

A Schulich Leader is one of 50 students who are selected each year by our 20 partner universities to receive $100,000 or $80,000 to pursue an undergraduate degree in STEM. In addition to this large financial award, they join an elite network and receive many ongoing benefits.

Since 2012, 320 Schulich Leaders have been awarded this prestigious STEM scholarship across Canada.

Why do you make a great Schulich Leader?

I think the most important thing is that I don't blindly follow naive optimism, which is completely different from just plain optimism. I value hard work, ambition, and persistence over everything instead of waiting or hoping for things to be handed to me. I've faced many obstacles and failures in my life, but every single time, I always got back up and worked harder to be successful in whatever I do.
