“However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.” –Stephen Hawking
What is a little known fact about you?
For the better part of ten years, I have spent the majority of my free time in a pool where I have had the opportunity to practice multiple sports. In the past three years alone, I have competed at the provincial level in both competitive synchronized swimming and swim racing.
Why do you make a great Schulich Leader?
I have always been a creative, non-linear thinker and these qualities combined with my attention to detail and persistence allow me to approach problem solving from different perspectives. The ability to visualize solutions gives me the opportunity to identify non-traditional paths to success which is ideal for situations where an unconventional solution to a problem may be the only solution. Thus, I believe that I make a great Schulich Leader as I am passionate about helping others realize their creative potential and the ways that creative risk taking can not only lead to success in STEM fields but can result in a significant positive contribution to society.
