Q&A with
Annie
:

What area(s) of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are you pursuing for your undergraduate degree?

Life Sciences

What is your favourite inspirational quote?

“We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.” --Chuck Palahniuk

What is a little known fact about you?

I am very involved in the community where I volunteer for a variety of public and non-profit organizations, as well as at care centres within the health region. I was known to always have big toothy smiles on my face that make people feel “Annie is never depressed.”

Why do you think you make a great Schulich Leader?

I make a great Schulich Leader because I have influence beyond leadership in a small circle. Above achieving academic excellence in school, I always like to take a step further to challenge myself in outside competitions, such as developing new ideas for innovations. Above demonstrating leadership in community volunteering, I also like to take steps further to help raise funds for the needs of public and non-profit organizations. I have the confidence to be a great Schulich Leader who can always take a step forward to lead changes that will eventually influence our generation and future generations.
